Harry Carter BSc (Hons) MRICS -
Director / Chartered Building Surveyor
Harry has been involved in construction for over 12 years. He started his career in the industry as a joiner on site, Harry has then progressed through university, receiving a 1st Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Building Surveying and later became a Chartered Building Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, passing in May 2015.
Harry has previously worked for a leading international built asset consultancy (Arcadis) and a couple of national consultancies.
Harry is a skilled Principal Designer, Building Surveyor and Project Manager, with experience ranging from: new school buildings, warehouse’s, high end residential new builds and refurbishment projects. With project values ranging from 10k – 18 million.
Harry's role has been project surveyor both pre-and post-contract duties which include: developing client’s brief, feasibility studies, economic appraisal, design and specification, statutory compliance, tendering / appointments, contract administration, financial control and reporting, and works progress and quality management.
Thomas Zub BSc (Hons) CIAT -
Director / Chartered Architectural Technologist
Thomas is a Chartered Architectural Technologist with extensive residential, sport and BIM experience.
Before joining Harry Carter to create Carter-Zub Building Consultancy Ltd, Thomas has been involved in a variety of schemes, for such clients as Chelsea Football Club and UEFA.
Tom’s experience ranges from compact residential and sport schemes, such as Belle Vue Sports Village (National Speedway Stadium) to major international projects, such as Stamford Bridge Stadium redevelopment and most recently 90,000 capacity Lusail World Cup Final Stadium.

Jack Beaman - Assistant Building Surveyor
Jack has been involved in the construction industry for just over two years but has already been involved in several multi-million pound projects and gained valuable knowledge and hands on experience.
Undertaking an assistant building surveyor and architectural role, his day to day duties including designing & drawing up new & existing 3D design models, site plans and construction drawings in CAD systems as well as assisting the practise by carrying out on-site measured surveys, sourcing of quotes for works and materials, sending projects out to tender and writing up reports.
He is currently studying his degree in Building Surveying at Salford University, after successfully completing his Level 3 National Diploma in Design & the Built Environment to Distinction as well as undertaking his RICS APC to become a chartered professional.
